World-Renowned Winemaker Nick Goldschmidt Visits Blossom & Brie
On January 15th, Blossom & Brie was delighted to host world-famous winemaker Nick Goldschmidt, owner of Goldschmidt Vineyards. Nick, originally from New Zealand, has made Sonoma County his home. Throughout the year, he travels extensively to Argentina and New Zealand, overseeing the harvest and bottling of some of his most acclaimed wines.
Nick’s passion for winemaking runs deep, a legacy passed down through generations. All five of his children are involved in the winemaking process, and he has even named three wines after his daughters, Katherine, Hilary, and Chelsea.
During the evening, Nick captivated us with his colorful stories from his travels, his extensive experience in the wine industry, and his unwavering dedication to crafting delicious and affordable wines. His commitment to supporting small businesses resonated with everyone at Blossom & Brie, solidifying his place as the perfect guest for our event.
Chef Wesley’s expert pairings complemented our five-course menu, which featured housemade sushi, a tender domestic lamb chop, a rich prime strip loin with mushroom risotto, and a luxurious chocolate mousse cake for a sweet finish. The perfect compliments to Nick’s delicious wines.
